For nearly 15 years, I have used my editorial skills to write and edit award-winning resources for students, including ESL/ELL students and reluctant or struggling readers. A primary focus has been creating inclusive, highly engaging texts — including graphic novels and anthologies — in which marginalized students see themselves and their worldviews reflected. I have also written many teacher's resources on themes including identity, diversity, Canadian history, and active citizenship.
